5 of these p remade decks are available--one for each color. These decks include cards that compliment each other well and work toward a common "theme" (essentially a strategy to beat your opponent). They also include enough land cards to play the deck effectively. A mix of common, uncommon, and rare cards is included as well, so you'll get a wide variety of cards that vary in power.
There are a few advantages to buying a premade deck such as this. The most obvious is that you can play it right out of the box, and these are actually fairly decent decks. If you've never played the game these decks will give you the opportunity to see how a deck is built and what makes it run smoothly, and hopefully give you an idea of how to eventually put one together yourself. You can also use this as a base and tweak it as you buy more cards, swapping out more powerful cards or cards that do different things as you acquire them.
One thing, however, is important to note. While these p remade decks are a good place to start and will be entertaining if you pit a couple of them against each other, they're not going to hold up well against custom built decks more advanced players will have. These are common theme decks that are pretty easy to play, but take them to a card shop or something and play them against other people there and you'll likely not do too well. This is a place to start, nothing more--if you want to compete in the game you're going to have to get more cards and eventually learn to build decks yourself.
